Whenever I open any excel files, excel will crash and the following message will show: 'There was a problem and Microsoft Excel was closed. We apologise for the inconvenience.' I am not able to access Excel at all even after selecting the 'Recover work and restart Microsoft Excel.'

I have tried to restart my computer and force quit the application, but nothing seems to work. Word and PPT works fine though.
