I also run the game on a MAC and have done so on three different ones throughout my Planetside career. You can install it through bootcamp. I use Windows 10 and it runs perfectly fine. I am using a higher end MAC and average around 70-90 fps in most medium sized battles with max being around 200 or so. If your computer is good enough you will be able to run it.
