Thanks again Laura, I will try your suggestion to de-register/uninstall Kindle4PC. What I hate about that is that this resets all the dates in K4PC, so I won’t know which books I have already converted in Calibre and which not (I have a lot of Kindle books, lots from when they’re free). One question though – in the instructions it says to install Kindle4PC version 1.17 or earlier – is that correct? Or can I install the current version?
