Email Stuck In Outbox For Mac
A standalone Mac running Outlook 2016 for Mac has an outgoing message stuck in the Outbox. Other messages sent after the stuck message are going out, something I've not seen before and suspect may be unique to the Mac version. Regardless, I've checked the most common cause, that the message is too large due to an attachment or graphics, and this is not the case here. I don't see any error message or yellow exclamation as I've seen before when there has been a sending issue. Is there somewhere Outlook for Mac might be holding error information about why the message is going out? @UYI6067, From our experience postini has been a great help. What we liked about postini was that it allowed each user to manage their own spam and configure whitelists etc without having to send a request to the IT dept. MxLogic and Postini both have a spooling service where if for some reason your internal email server goes down, they will spool up to so many GB of data and wait until your email server comes up again to resend messages. Yes, I seem to have cracked it. I somehow changed my Date and Time on my local machine and saved it. Issue was that the mail synched during this brief change. I had 20 mails trying to synch mails from my future changed date as I had subsequently changed my local time back to the normal day. This caused much confusion on the exchange eg: last synched 30 January 2015 and my local time and date is the 20th January. I moved all my mails out of my inbox including sent items to an archive and re-synched my mail account.
This seems to have fixed the error code 50 on trying to synch my mail.
