PSpice Schematics will launch and you see the following interface. Click on menu File—New, a new blank schematic sheet will appear as below. Now you can design your circuit schematic on it. First please save your schematic design as a file. Please click on menu File—Save, you will see. Schematic is a diagramming tool that allows complex diagrams to be drawn with ease. Schematic allows you to combine text, pictures, shapes and connectors to create clear and informative diagrams.

The design of any circuit board requires very specific software. There are many things that have to be taken into account, like the fact that circuit boards can vary in kind, from analog to digital, or be a combination of both. OrCAD is an application that has been specifically developed to design circuit boards. And to test the designs that we create with O rCAD, we'll need an application like PSpice A/D Circuit Simulator. PSpice is a simulator that analyzes the behavior of a virtual circuit board, using the Smoke method to detect the components that could be at risk due to overstress, and the Monte Carlo method to determine how the components perform, thus preventing any board failure. Furthermore, it includes advanced simulation technology that will allow all users to save plenty of time and get more reliable results when working with large designs. If you need a tool to simulate how an analog or mixed-signal circuit board behaves, download PSpice and try it out.

This version does not require installation and behaves exactly as the installed versions.

• These versions are recommended for use if you have trouble with the installed version of PSpice or want to avoid the installation process. Removing PSpice 9.1 • NOTE: Please reboot your machine before attempting to remove PSpice.

This will kill any hanging processes that might interfere with the uninstall procedure • Open the Control Panel and select Add/Remove Programs (XP)or Programs and Features (Vista/7) • Uninstall PSpice Student 9.1 (and any other versions of Orcad PSpice you find) • Open Windows Explorer (File Browser) and delete the following folder (C: Program Files Orcad_Demo). PSpice 10.0 and 16.2 place their folder on the C: drive.

We recommend the Slim version. • Open CCleaner and use it to clean your registry Troubleshooting PSpice • We recommend complete reboots of the computer between attempts to troubleshoot PSpice. This will ensure that all hung processes are properly killed.
